Charlotte traffic: I-77 lane closed for pothole repairs in Huntersville
The N.C. Department of Transportation has closed the right lane of Interstate 77 southbound near Huntersville Exit 23, Gilead Road, for emergency pothole repairs.
The state learned of the pothole at 8:15 Tuesday morning and closed the lane to begin repairs at 10:15 a.m., after rush hour.
The lane is expected to reopen by 11:30 a.m.
