Queens University of Charlotte dean accepts post at college in Chicago

Eric Freedman, dean of the James L. Knight School of Communication at Queens University of Charlotte, has been named dean of the School of Media Arts at Columbia College in Chicago, effective July 1.

“It has been an honor to lead the Knight School, and to have experienced such a warm welcome when I arrived here in 2012,” Freedman said Friday in announcing his new post. “I will continue with the important work on the ground in the months to come.”
