More spring-like weather expected through Tuesday
The spring-like weather that made Sunday a delight in the Charlotte region will stay with us a little longer.
Monday’s high should reach about 67 degrees, accompanied by plenty of sunshine. The low should drop to about 44, with a sky clear enough to see more of the waning moon.
A chance for showers is expected to move in Tuesday and continue much of the week, according to the National Weather Service.
A mostly sunny sky is expected early Tuesday, when the high should be about 66. There will be a 20 percent chance for precipitation mainly after 4 p.m.
Tuesday’s low is expected to be about 49 with a 50 percent chance for showers overnight.
Wednesday should be partly sunny with a 20 percent chance for showers, a high near 58 and a low around 34.
Thursday should start out mostly sunny with a high near 55. The chance for showers jumps to 50 percent Thursday night, when the low is expected to drop to around 37.
Friday is expected to bring a 40 percent chance for showers before 3 p.m., a high near 51 and a low around 34.
The weekend forecast calls for a mix of clouds and sunshine, with a high Saturday near 54 and near 60 Sunday.
