Gradually clearing skies, warmer weather on the way

The cold rain late Thursday and early Friday should be the last of the miserable weather for a while.

Skies are expected to gradually clear throughout the morning , and the high could reach 56, still 3 degrees below normal.

But temperatures are forecast to warm even more over the weekend and into next week. Skies should be mostly sunny into at least Thursday.

Highs could climb to 57 Saturday, 58 Sunday, 62 Monday, 70 Tuesday and Wednesday and 72 Thursday, according to the National Weather Service in Greer, S.C.

Finally we’ll hit the 70s again.
