Interstate 77 is “impassable” at Exit 33 in Mooresville on Friday afternoon due to a wreck, according to the state Department of Transportation.

Traffic is backed up several miles, to north of Exit 36 (N.C. 150).

Use U.S. 21 and N.C. 115 as alternates.
