1 dead in Union County wreck

One person was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Union County Sunday night.

The crash happened around 11:17 p.m. on Ridge Road. Highway Patrol said the driver lost control, hit a tree and overturned.

The identity of the victim is being withheld until the family can be notified, authorities said.

There was no word on contributing factors.
