One person was treated for potentially life-threatening injuries Saturday night when a car struck a home on Brighton Brook Drive in east Charlotte.
The American Red Cross was helping two adults and three children who were in the home, Red Cross spokeswoman Jennifer Franklin said.
It was not known if the injured person was in the car or home. Medic treated and took the person to Carolinas Medical Center.
The incident happened about 6:30 p.m.
Brighton Brook Drive is off City View Drive, which leads to Idlewood Shopping Center and East Independence Boulevard.
