One person was seriously injured in a crash in uptown Charlotte Monday morning.

The wreck happened on East Seventh Street and blocked the road for a time between McDowell Street and Kings Drive.

Medic took one person to Carolinas Medical Center with serious injuries, according to WBTV, the Observer’s news partner.

There’s no word on what caused the crash or how many vehicles were involved.
