Charlotte traffic: Wrecks that blocked interstate lanes have been cleared

Meanwhile, a wreck temporarily closed the left lane of northbound Brookshire Boulevard (N.C. 16) at the I-85 interchange. And wrecks snarled traffic on I-77 southbound, at the John Belk Freeway and the Brookshire Freeway.
Emergency crews responded to a three-vehicle wreck on I-77 southbound just north of Exit 23, Gilead Road, in Huntersville. The right lane was closed for several hours, reopening at 6 a.m.
The wreck included an overturned vehicle, and one patient was taken to the hospital, according to the Huntersville Fire Department.
