But Wednesday night could turn cloudy, and rain is forecast by Thursday afternoon, according to the National Weather Service in Greer, S.C.
The region has a 60 percent chance of showers Thursday afternoon and a 90 percent chance of showers and possible thunderstorms Thursday night.
Showers and thunderstorms are forecast to continue Friday morning and afternoon before the chance of rain diminishes to 20 percent at night.
As the rain moves in Thursday, temperatures are expected to climb 74 Thursday and 78 Friday.
Saturday through Tuesday should be mostly sunny.
Highs are expected to reach only 69 Saturday, 64 Sunday, 68 Monday and 69 Tuesday.
