Elementary school student hit by vehicle at school bus stop

An elementary school student was hospitalized after being hit by a vehicle at a school bus stop Friday morning.

According to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, the victim is a student at Nations Ford Elementary.

The incident happened in the 1300 block of Choyce Avenue, according to Medic, which said the student suffered potentially serious injuries.
