A portion of South Tryon closed in uptown
A portion of South Tryon Street was closed in uptown on Sunday afternoon between Stonewall Street and Levine Avenue of the Arts.
The closing apparently was related to crews working on a window at the Duke Energy tower. Official details about scope of their work were not immediately available.
The closing appears to be unplanned because the date and location are not listed among Charlotte Department of Transportation’s scheduled street closings.
