Another pleasant day forecast for Charlotte region
The Charlotte region can expect another pleasant day on Friday, with all sunshine and a forecast high of 65.
The normal high for April 15 is 72 degrees.
Mostly sunny skies should continue through at least Thursday, according to the National Weather Service in Greer, S.C.
Temperatures are forecast to rise from a high of 68 Saturday to 70 Sunday, 79 Monday and 80 Tuesday.
A weak cold front is expected to sink southward through the area on Tuesday, bringing slightly cooler temperatures by Wednesday, according to NWS forecasters. Wednesday could dip to a high of 73 and Thursday 76.
The region, meanwhile, likely will see no rain over the next week, and it sure could use some.
Only 8.54 inches of rain have fallen this year, compared with 12.18 inches normally, according to the weather service.
