Slowdown likely on Rea Road due to wreck
A wreck was reported in south Charlotte in the 8400 block of Rea Road at 7:33 a.m., according to Charlotte-Mecklenburg police.
Also:
▪ The right lane of Interstate 77 south was blocked near the South Carolina state line after a vehicle caught fire at 6:44 a.m.
▪ Expect delays in the 5400 block of North Tryon Street, where CMPD reported a wreck at 7:20 a.m.
▪ Part of the road was reported blocked at Old Statesville Road and the I-485 ramp due to a wreck at 7:12 a.m.
▪ The right lane of I-77 north has reopened near I-485 in Huntersville after a wreck at 5:52 a.m., according to N.C. Department of Transportation.
