Sunshine continues Tuesday, with rain still a few days away

Sunshine and warmer temperatures should stay with us through Wednesday, with rain in the forecast before the workweek ends.

Tuesday is expected to be the warmest day of the week, with a sunny sky and a high near 85 degrees. The low should be around 56.

Clouds are expected to move in slowly beginning on Wednesday, which should be partly sunny and cooler at nearly 74 degrees.

Wednesday night will likely be mostly cloudy with a low of 55, according to the National Weather Service.

Thursday’s forecast calls for a partly sunny sky with a 20 percent chance of showers after noon and a high near 77.

The chance for showers jumps to 30 percent Thursday night with a low around 61.

Friday’s forecast includes a 60 percent chance for showers after 5 p.m. with a high near 74.

The chance for showers drops to 40 percent Friday night with a low around 56.

Saturday should be mostly sunny with a high near 75 and a low around 53.

A sunny day and a high near 78 are expected Sunday.
