Charlotte traffic: Wrecks close parts of South and North Tryon
Wrecks have closed parts of South Tryon and North Tryon streets Thursday morning.
South Tryon Street is closed at Camden Road, after a car smacked a utility pole about 4 a.m. Thursday.
The intersection will be closed until noon, according to the Charlotte Fire Department.
No injuries were reported in the wreck, and no related outage has been reported by Duke Energy.
Use South Mint Street and West Summit Avenue as an alternate.

North Tryon Street was blocked until about 8:45 a.m. at East 16th Street after a tractor-trailer became stuck under a railroad bridge.
