Missing 92-year-old Salisbury man found in culvert
A 92-year-old Salisbury man reported missing Wednesday night was found alert in a culvert Friday morning by a resident helping in the search.
Police said John Henry Brooker fell into the culvert behind homes in the 900 block of Lincolnton Road. He was found about 0.2 miles from where he lives on Fries Street.
The searcher found Brooker “conscious and alert” about 11:20 a.m., police said.
An EMS crew drove Brooker to Novant Health Rowan Regional Medical Center for treatment of injuries from the fall.
