Man dies in Gaston County tractor accident

A 65-year-old man was operating a small farm tractor when it rolled over an embankment killing him, Gaston County officials said.

The accident happened around 3 p.m. Saturday on Bowen Drive. The man was leveling some ground, police said.

A neighbor found the tractor rolled over.

The man lived by himself, and officials are waiting to notify next of kin before releasing his name.
