2nd I-77 southbound wreck backing up traffic

Interstate 77 southbound is experiencing another big backup after a second wreck Friday morning.

The latest happened near Remount Road exit 8. The left and center lanes were blocked at 7 a.m., and traffic stayed backed up at 7:30. Five vehicles appeared to be involved in the wreck.

An earlier wreck backed up traffic near South Tryon Street exit 6B when two lanes also were closed.
