Authorities search for man suffering from schizophrenia

Authorities are searching for a 25-year-old Rock Hill, S.C., man who suffers from schizophrenia and was believed to be in Pineville on Friday.

Benjamin Daniel Andrews left his home on Pennington Meadow Circle on Thursday.

The York County Sheriff’s Office said Saturday they consider Andrews at risk because of his schizophrenia.

He was driving a 2007 Dark Blue Nissan Frontier with S.C. tag DSJ-955. A York Technical College parking sticker is on the rear window.

Andrews is white, 5-feet-9-inches and about 170 pounds.

Anyone who knows of Andrews’ whereabouts is asked to call the York County Sheriff's Office at 803-628-3059.
