Wreck on John Belk Freeway slows traffic near Fourth Street

▪ Expect delays near David Taylor and Senator Royal drives in northeast Charlotte due to a collision at 8:16 a.m.

▪ At least one person has been injured in a wreck in the 1300 block of Eastway Drive. The incident was reported by CMPD at 8:11 a.m.

▪ The left lane of Interstate 85 in Concord has reopened after a wreck near U.S. 29 at 7:03 a.m. Congestion remains heavy in the area, according to N.C. Department of Transportation.
