It feels like summer: Warmer and humid, making showers likely

Warm temperatures and higher humidity are expected this week, and that will increase the chance of showers and thunderstorms.

Tuesday’s high is expected to be about 85 degrees, accompanied by a partly sunny sky and a low around 68. There’s a 30 percent chance for showers and thunderstorms with a humidity level around 90 percent, according to the National Weather Service.

Wednesday should be partly sunny with a high near 84 and a 20 percent chance for showers, increasing to 30 percent before midnight. The low should be around 68.

The chance for showers increases to 40 percent beginning Thursday, which is expected to be partly sunny with a high near 84 and a low that lingers around 70.

The high temperature is expected to reach 87 Friday with a partly sunny sky and a 40 percent chance of showers. The low should be around 69.

Similar conditions are expected for the weekend, with highs in the mid-80s, lows around 70, and the chance for showers lingering around 40 percent Saturday and Sunday.
