Lots of sunshine this week, with summer showers also in the forecast
Sunshine and high temperatures will be with us this week, and those showers and thunderstorms that are typical in summer are also in the forecast.
Monday is expected to be the coolest day of the workweek, with a high of 88 degrees and a low around 68.
A 30 percent chance for showers or thunderstorms is in the forecast for Tuesday. The high is expected to climb to near 91, with a low of about 72, according to the National Weather Service.
The chance for showers increases to 40 percent Wednesday. The sky should be mostly sunny. The high should be near 90 and a low around 72.
Look for a partly sunny sky Thursday with a high near 93 and a 30 percent chance for showers before 10 p.m. The low should be around 75.
Friday should be partly sunny with a high near 91. A 30 percent chance for showers is expected before 10 p.m. The low should be around 71.
Saturday and Sunday are expected to be mostly sunny and cooler, with a high near 87 Saturday and 88 Sunday.
