Canned goods spill onto I-85 in Cabarrus County after truck overturns
Expect Interstate 85 southbound in Cabarrus County to remain backed up for hours, after a truck overturned near Dale Earnhardt Boulevard, Exit 60.
The truck wrecked at about 5 p.m. Saturday, and state highway officials said it could take until 8 p.m. to clear the scene. No injuries were reported.
WBTV, the Observer’s news partner, reported that canned goods spilled from the truck onto the highway.

To avoid the mess, take Exit 68 for U.S. 29 South. Stay on U.S. 29 South until merging right to access I-85 South again at Exit 58.
