Concord closing two N.C. 73 lanes late Monday, Tuesday for needed repairs

Concord will close two lanes of N.C. 73 westbound starting at 11 p.m. Monday, on the east side of the Interstate 85 interchange.

Closures are needed to repair a damaged water line under the roadway, officials said. One westbound lane will remain open during this work. All lanes should be open by 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 23.

The lane closures will also affect motorists turning left from International Drive. Message boards on westbound N.C. 73 and International Drive will provide guidance through the lane closures.
