20-year-old killed in three-vehicle crash Saturday in Salisbury
Salisbury Police have released the name of a 20-year-old driver killed in a multi-car wreck Saturday afternoon on South Jake Alexander Boulevard near South Main Street.
Tyler E. Taylor of Salisbury was pronounced dead at the scene, officials said.
Isaias C. Parada, 17, of Greensboro, was driving a pickup involved in the accident and was transported to Novant Health Rowan Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries. A third driver, Lindsey R. Albright, 27, of Salisbury was also injured, but officials did not release details.
Numerous witnesses reported that a silver Chevrolet Camaro driven by Taylor was traveling west on South Jake Alexander Boulevard and crossed the median and collided with an east bound Chevrolet Silverado pickup driven by Parada. The resulting crash also involved a Pontiac Aztec driven by Albright.
The accident remains under investigation.
