Lincoln County deputies charge two women with meth dealing
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office arrested two women Wednesday and charged them with selling methamphetamine from a home in the 3200 block of Gastonia Highway.
Detectives say they observed illegal drug sales at the residence and attempted to arrest the women. However, one of the two fled the home on foot and tried to hide under a blanket in a nearby mobile home. She was later taken into custody, officials said.
Detectives seized methamphetamine, cash and drug paraphernalia at the home, officials said.
“Both women have been previously arrested by our narcotics unit on serious drug charges within the last six months. Undoubtedly they have not learned their lesson,” says Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Lt. Jon Propst.
Tessa Lee Hinson, 24, of Gastonia Highway, Lincolnton, was charged with one felony count each of possessing and selling a controlled substance. She received a $15,000 secured bond.
Angela Lingerfelt Juarez, 43, of Gastonia Highway, Lincolnton, was charged with one felony count each of selling and delivering a controlled substance, and possession with intent to sell. She received a total bond of $15,500 secured.
