Part of West Stonewall Street will close nightly for construction work

West Stonewall Street will close between South Church Street and South Tryon Street from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. Sunday through Wednesday so walls at the old Charlotte Observer site can be dismantled.

To detour eastbound, take South Church Street, West Hill Street and South Tryon Street.

The westbound detour is South Tryon Street, West Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and South Church Street.

CATS will be affected during the work.
