2 shot at Salisbury home; extra security called to hospital
Two people were taken to the hospital after being shot in Salisbury Wednesday evening, according to police.
The shooting happened around 9 p.m. at a home on the 600 block of Cemetery Street. Police have not released many details, but said one person was flown to Baptist Hospital and another was taken by ambulance.
Police said one of the victims was able to make it away from the scene to nearby Franklin Street.
The victims’ names and conditions have not been released.
Police said extra security was called to the hospital where the victims were taken, but did not give further details.
There is no word on what may have led to the shootings or if anyone was taken into custody.
