CMPD charges man in connection with 2013 slaying
A Greenville man has been charged with murder in connection with the death of a woman in Charlotte in 2013, authorities said.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said they arrested Karlos Antonio Holmes, 45, without incident on Thursday night.
On the morning of Nov. 25, 2013, just a few days before Thanksgiving, police were sent to the 6300 block of Trotters Ridge Road for a death investigation. They found Tiffany Claiborne, 31, dead in her home, authorities said.
CMPD did not say how Claiborne was killed or what led them to charge Holmes in the case.
