A Lenoir man was arrested in connection with charges of having methamphetamine in a high school parking lot, authorities said Thursday.
Colt David Everhart, 27, was charged with one felony count of possession with intent to manufacture, sell, deliver or possession of a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of school property, Lenoir police said.
On Wednesday, workers at Hibriten High notified the Lenoir police school resource officer about a suspicious vehicle with three males in it in the parking lot. Police seized $225 worth of the drugs as well as drug paraphernalia, and arrested Everhart.
