Baltimore Ravens player charged with DWI, speeding in Charlotte
A player for the Baltimore Ravens was arrested in Charlotte on Sunday, accused of driving while impaired and speeding.
Victor Tyrell Hampton, 22, a cornerback for the Ravens, was charged with driving while impaired, speeding, reckless driving to endanger and driving with an open container. He was released from Mecklenburg jail on $2,500 bail.
The N.C. Highway Patrol said Hampton’s convertible Camaro was traveling 100 mph in a 55 mph zone near Westinghouse Boulevard.
Hampton went to high school in Charlotte, according to his NFL.com profile. Cleve R. Wootson Jr.
