Charlotte-Mecklenburg police search for Bed Bath & Beyond thief
Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are asking for the public’s help in finding who tried to steal $4,000 in merchandise from the Bed Bath & Beyond store at 9559 South Blvd. on Feb. 10.
About 7:20 p.m., a man tried to steal numerous items from the store but was confronted by a store employee who had observed the man stealing the items.
The man then left the merchandise and ran from the store.
Anyone with information on the man’s identity is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600.
