Bullets fired from 1 car into another in west Charlotte

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said someone fired bullets from one car into another Tuesday night in west Charlotte and then drove from the scene. No injuries were reported.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said someone fired bullets from one car into another Tuesday night in west Charlotte and then drove from the scene. No injuries were reported.

The shooting happened about 6:45 p.m. on Hovis Road at Wildwood Avenue. A heavy police presence remained at 7:30 p.m.

Police have not said if they know whether the shooting was random.
