Pedestrian hit in Charlotte’s South End by driver who left the scene
A pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries after being hit by a driver who left the scene in Charlotte’s South End on Saturday night.
The pedestrian was hit in the 1400 block of South Tryon Street at 9:12 p.m., Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police said.
Police closed all lanes on South Tryon Street in the 1400 block. Bland Street also was shut down near the intersection.
