Someone was shot near a Charlotte museum on Sunday afternoon

Someone was injured in a shooting near the Charlotte Museum of History Sunday afternoon.

MEDIC tweeted about the shooting, near the intersection of Purser Drive and Glenville Avenue off of Shamrock Drive, around 5:20 p.m.

The victim’s injuries are potentially life-threatening, MEDIC said.

No names have been released yet.

The scene is three miles from Kimmerly Woods Drive, where another shooting caused life-threatening injuries around noon Sunday.
