Concord man charged with keeping teen runaway in his apartment

A 29-year-old Concord man has been arrested after police said he kept a teen runaway in his apartment last weekend.

Lillie Samantha Tucker, 15, of Salisbury was found Monday morning walking along U.S. 29 in Concord. She was reported missing Friday night.

Rowan County sheriff’s investigators charged Philip Michael Goodman with contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Investigators said the girl met Goodman online, and Goodman picked her up after dark Friday near her home in southern Rowan County.

Goodman was jailed, with bail set at $1,000.
