Police: 2 shot in north Charlotte

Two people were shot in north Charlotte Friday night, police said.

The shootings happened just before 9:30 p.m. on the 3700 block of Pauline Lane, off Beatties Ford Road.

Police said one person was shot in the abdomen and is in serious condition. The other person is expected to be OK. No names have been released.

Investigators have not said what may have led to the shootings, or if they have a suspect in custody.
