Two people have been arrested on charges of robbing a Dollar General store in Charlotte at gunpoint Thursday, police said.
Dejanay Wactor, 24, and Tevin Jackson, 20, were charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon and conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon, Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said.
The armed robbery happened at about 1:50 p.m. Thursday at the Dollar General in the 3700 block of Oakdale Road near Sunset Road.
The suspects then fled on foot toward a residential neighborhood. Police received information the suspects had run into a home in the 1400 block of Mandy Place Court, about a half mile from the robbery site.

Police said they surrounded the home, arrested the suspects without further incident and located evidence of the robbery in the residence.
