Police seek suspect in two Charlotte robberies on Friday
Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect in two robberies on Friday.
About 2:40 a.m., police said, the 7-Eleven in the 1800 block of Freedom Drive was robbed at gunpoint.
About 10 minutes later, the Exxon in the 3200 block of Queen City Drive also was robbed at gunpoint. Queen City Drive is off Interstate 85 Service Road near Billy Graham Parkway.
The suspect is described as a black male between 5-feet-11-inches and 6-feet-2 inches tall, about 25 to 30 years old, of medium build with short dreadlocks.
He was last seen wearing a black/teal striped hoodie with black pants.
The suspect also has a skin condition on his face that possibly looks like eczema, police said.
