Man stabbed to death in east Charlotte

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police were investigating the Sunday afternoon stabbing death of a man in east Charlotte.

The stabbing took place around 3 p.m. on the 3300 block of Tyrone Drive, police said.

As of 5 p.m., police had not released the victim’s name or charged anyone. Ames Alexander
