A woman was arrested by Myrtle Beach police in connection with assault after she grabbed a man’s genitals during an argument, authorities said.
Pamela Jill Brown, 54, was charged with third-degree assault and battery and taken to the Myrtle Beach Jail, according to a police report.
Officers were called about 11:30 p.m. Tuesday to an apartment building at 403 Chester Street, near U.S. 17 Business, where a 37-year-old man reported the incident, police said.
The victim told authorities that he and Brown had been arguing about a previous assault that happened there that did not involve either of them.

The victim told Brown that he didn’t believe the assault really happened, and Brown then grabbed him by his genitals in an effort to show him how the attack happened, police said.
The victim then pulled away from Brown and told her to leave him alone.
Officers spoke with Brown, who they noted as being “heavily intoxicated,” and she admitted to police that she did grab the victim, according to the report.
Police said Brown told them she would grab the victim again if he did not stop saying bad things about the other assault victim.
The victim denied emergency medical services treatment and would not let police photograph his injury, authorities said.
