Woman sought in 4 Charlotte robberies

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a female suspect in four armed robberies Sunday.

About 8 p.m., a man was robbed while getting gas at the Raceway station at 3815 Brookshire Blvd., police said.

The assailant flashed a weapon, took money from the victim and left in a vehicle, police said.

About an hour later, a man reported being struck on his head with a weapon and robbed while outside his vehicle in the 900 block of Beatties Ford Road, police said. The victim had minor injuries, police said.

A short time later, a woman reported being robbed while pumping gas in the 4200 block of Glenwood Drive, near Interstate 85 in west Charlotte.

Then, at about 11 p.m., the McDonald’s restaurant at 2820 Boyer St. in west Charlotte was robbed.

The suspect is described as a black woman in her 20s, about 5-feet-5-inches tall and of average build. She was last seen wearing a hooded jacket.
