A man was shot to death outside an IHOP in Hickory, police say
A 26-year-old man was shot and killed at an IHOP in Hickory on Monday night, police said.
Officers were called to the restaurant located on US 70 SE shortly before midnight, where they found the victim injured in the parking lot. The victim, Rafael Cerda-Ramirez, was taken to Catawba Valley Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
Hickory police are looking for two white men who they believe are involved in the shooting. The men were potentially driving a small burgundy car, police said.
