CMPD seeking public’s help in ID’ing 2 robbers

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are asking the public’s help in identifying suspects in two unrelated robberies.

Last Thursday at 12:50 a.m., a man robbed Hungry Howie’s pizza shop at 10039 University City Boulevard at gunpoint. The suspect fled the scene in a dark blue “Japanese make” vehicle.

The other case happened at 7:15 p.m. Saturday when a man indicated he had a weapon and robbed the Pop Shoppe at 6865 Albemarle Road. He fled on foot.

Anyone with information about either case is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600.
