Police: West Charlotte shooting started with heated argument

One person has been taken to the hospital after a shooting in west Charlotte Sunday morning, according to police.

Around 4 a.m., police say two people were arguing at an Anita Court home. When the situation escalated. one person shot the other in the back.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police say the victim has minor injuries.

Officials have not said if any arrests have been made.
