Police: Several buildings hit by gunfire near uptown Charlotte
Shots were fired at several North Davidson Road apartments Thursday afternoon, according to Charlotte-Mecklenburg police.
Police say the gunshots rang out near the 600 block of North Davidson Street just before 3:30 p.m. Several apartments were struck.
Officers had the scene roped off while they investigated. At least five shell casings could be seen near the Southside Market, which is right across the street from the apartments.
Police say no injuries were reported, and Medic said they did not responding to scene.
