Charlotte robbery suspect sought
Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a robbery suspect.
About 3 a.m. Sunday, a person was walking in the 2100 block of Scott Avenue when he was approached by someone who brandished a firearm and stole his credit cards, Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said.
Scott Avenue is off East Boulevard.
A short time later, the victim’s credit card was used at a gas station on Woodlawn Road.
The suspect is a black male in his late teens to early 20s, about 5-feet-9 to 6-feet tall, with an average build. The suspect was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans shorts.
Police released video surveillance images of the suspect.
