A former Union County middle school teacher who is already accused of sexual misconduct with a student, is facing a dozen more charges.
Daniel Wade Stanford, 35, is accused of inappropriate contact with two additional students, the Union County Sheriff's Office officials said Thursday.
The latest allegations come just a few weeks after Stanford was accused of sexual misconduct with a former student at Parkwood Middle School.
The student told authorities about the inappropriate contact with Stanford in early May, and he was arrested on May 19 after an investigation, according to the Union County Sheriff's Office.

Detectives believed the incidents with first student took place between 2014 and 2015, and that many encounters took place on school property, officials said. It wasn't clear when and where the most recent allegations may have taken place.
Stanford now faces 28 total charges, including charges for indecent liberties with a student, indecent liberties with a child and simple assault, according to the sheriff's office.
He resigned last month shortly after the initial allegations surfaced. His next court appearance is July 5, according to the sheriff's office.
