Two people are accused of human trafficking following an investigation into a Davidson nail salon.

Davidson police began investigating Luxury Nail Salon at 610 Jetton St. on Tuesday, with help from Homeland Security, Davidson police officials said.

That led to the arrest of 34-year-old Tien Luong and 36-year-old Nip Mihn Tsi on assault charges.

Police obtained additional warrants Wednesday, and the two were each charged with human trafficking, involuntary servitude and conspiracy, police said.

Police didn't say if Luong and Tsi were employees at the salon or describe how they were associated with the business.

Officials released no additional information, citing the sensitivity of the investigation.
